An Cardine: Nearly all provider DVRs are dual tuner, sometimes more, rarely single tuner.On a single STB which you can plug in an HDD to make into a DVR, it will be single tuner DVR, as will any DVR you plug into your regular STB as a source.
Nestor Klan: Yes! I use mine ALL the time when I am working it seems like thats when all my shows come on. On your remote it should have a red button on it that records the program that you are watching or want to watch.
