I want a new car audio system....any suggestions?

Thomas Riner: go with infinity speakers for voice, after that it's up to you for the subs... infinity subs are great for clairty in bass, but seem to lack long term durability, if you are going to keep your system for 3 years or more and beat the hell out of your subs. infinity for voice is very clear and seem to "come alive" at high volume. find some broken amps for cheap on ebay and see about getting them fixed, I've saved tons in my car doing this.Mtx subs seem to be really durable for the long term, but seem to lack some of the clarity some of the other subs have. don't get mtx's cheap line, get one of their more expensive lines. I have 7500's now and kinda wish I would have went with a more expensive line, though 7500's arent cheap.haven't shopped for subs lately, maybe there's better out there.also, get a screen on your deck, or externally, to play dvd's. very awesome accessory to any vehiclehope this helps......Show more
