Mee Blumenfeld: Figure an easy 1K a year in WTF repairs. IE the maintenance. But if it just a beater car, change the oil, service the tranny and radiator fluid and youll be fine. Brakes yeah at the dealer might be 600 I do mine on a 560 and it less than 150 bucks. It aint rocket science. The biggest issue with that car is the glow plug. And the smoke and are noisy as hell. But the get awesome mileage. IF it has books and record with the car Id get it. Seeing the dealer is selling it if MB dealer then its got to be clean....Show more
An Cardine: that old diesel is a bear to drive/the brand new one is great/that 84 stinks and is noisy and eats brakes/good luck/brakes are 600 a pop and 15k is what they get on brakes/if its a stick its different but repairs will be pricey
