Laundry day on mondays?

Jesse Pirieda: How do I LAUNDER my pants so that THEY DON'T shrink? Can I put them in the washing machine and THEN LET THEM air dry?Maybe. It depends on what they're made of. The shrinking can happen in the washer. Also, some fabrics are ruined by washing in water, hence dry clean only. So shrinking may not be the only thing you have to worry about....Show more

Piedad Bassiti: I wash my pants in cold water and then hang to dry. I do this to prevent the elastic in my jeans from stretching out. Avoiding heat is your best bet.

Blair Abdi: Myspace: hide your friends?

Adelle Weight: Depends on the material.

Porfirio Gartland: Laundry day on mondays?

Launa Weingarten: I have no friends in high school. Please help?!?

Helen Zafar: White vinegar and water should work good and not harm the inside.

Monty Sieloff: Some people organize their chore by day. Especially back in the day when Sunday was an observed day of rest and no chores we! re done, Monday would be the obvious day to start again.

Hope Lundmark: by a turbo snake for around ten bucks

Dick Maisenbacher:

Donnell Mollo: A screw driver can dig the hair out of the drain. If the drain does not drain right after the hair is out, some drain o down the drain will clean the drain out.

Wally Gower: What is going on with my husband?

Inez Relihan: Buy yourself a pair of needle nose pliers. You can use these to grab the hair and pull it up and out of the drain. This is very easy. You don't have to touch anything and pliers are cheap Usually 1 or 2 dollars. Don't use any chemicals because it can damage your drain or pipes.

Byron Fortmann: Same happens to me with my girlfriend. I HATE to clean her hair out. Use Drano to unclogg the drain. To avoid the problem, there are some plastic mesh that fit on the shower or bathtub. You may use also a fabric mesh that sticks to the shower drain. Both are sold in supermarkets and home i! mprovement stores. Finally, a little education to your siste! r could help. Cleaning her hair out of the bathtub after use it is as basic as flushing the toilet after each use!...Show more

Lady Laflin: It's the beginning of the work week.

Seema Hosfeld: I'm from Michigan USA & my grandma did laundry on Monday. She'd wash on Monday, iron on Tuesday. She had a wringer washer and it involved heating water for it and two rinse tubs. She'd sort the laundry and put the light clothes in the washer, wring it into a rinse tub & wring it into the second rinse tub. Then she'd wash the medium clothes in the same water. Then the darks. After it was washed, she'd hang it on the clothes line. She had one outside and one in the basement. Tuesday was spent ironing all that clothing. Since laundry was so much work, I suppose everyone only did it once a week. Sunday was a day of rest so the housewife would be rested for such a large chore. Just guessing, here....Show more

Logan Bero: i would say maybe old wise tale.....but start the we! ek with the laundry everyone knew what was happening on that day...years a go it was a processjust imagine if people really had to wash their clothes without a machinerelaxvote for a best answer...Show more

Brice Greczkowski: I can't answer your question but I live in the UK and can also remember when every day of the week was scheduled for a particular task.I remember baking day was Wednesday in our house. Meals were organised around days of the week. Particular dishes for each day and fish was always for Friday, LOLI've no idea why Monday used to be washing day though.

Rufus Plough: My sister lives in a dorm, but she comes home every weekend to do laundry and stuff, and after she uses the bathtub to shower for maybe twice, or three, the bathtub is clogged.. AND I am the usually the one that unclogs it.. she dries her hair almost 10~15 minutes each day and been doing that ever since i can remember. So her hair falls out very easily and it's around medium long! but anyways, i was wondering if there's a way I can unclog the bathtub! without having me reach down there with my fingers and grabbing the hair shxt and other .. things you don't want to read about. I know there's some powdery, acidic things you can spray on and let it sit, but I don't have any of those right now and I don't like those things lol. But is there a way you can make one? something that could melt the hair but not damaging the tub itself. Anything. I mean anything. thank you...Show more

Debora Soliani: Husband says hands feel weird?

Gregory Dilg: GUYS: What Do You Think Of Shy Girls?

Jasper Mangel: Check to see the material makeup. if it is 100% cotton it will shrink. If it is a mix blend then shrinkage is less. Bluejeans are cotton...so you should have bought a size or 2 bigger especially in leg length. Turn them inside out before the washing machine and hang dry on a line. You can hang indoors. It takes longer to drip dry but it will dry with less leg shrinkage.

Alden Sabio: Damp hand towel with a ! little cleaner on it.

Craig Virani: Watch those laundry detergent commercials from the 70's

Carolynn Testani: Premie development and husband?

Idell Mulliniks: Read the instructions on each item you have questions on......Many times tee shirts and jeans can be flipped first than hung on wooden racks.....Many times dryer shrink many items. Another good thing is catch your dryer going off and than items don't get as wrinkled as much.

Stormy Beliard: Use a pair of tweezers or small pliers. 100 points please for such a very difficult answer.

Marvel Mcaulay: cool wash on a gentle/low agitation cycle. Gentle detergent too. Dry flat.

Kenneth Queener: I suggest you read the washing instructions.

Lon Pennington: Wash with tap cold or cold and dry with the heat on low or air dry, or you could just hang them to dry. Do you realize that there are washing instructions on the label of ALL clothing.

Antone Youla: Yeah, I would say a mild ! detergent and warm water would not harm the inside of the dryer. I just! don't know how effective it would be to remove stains or anything. But, if you're just giving it a once over to remove old lint or whatever, that should do the trick.

Gladys Worthing: I just got a new place and want to clean it out. I took out all the lint but want to wash the inside... not sure what chemicals are safe. I was thinking just some diluted dawn and then rinsing. Thanks!
