Vern Serratos: This really depends on what you would consider the best or most popular. The best to me is World of Warcraft with the Burning Crusades Expansion. I don't normally like RPG's, but this one is easy to follow, has hundreds of thousands of people on several different servers all over the world playing, and can be a great way to make friends. The others are Everquest (various versions), Vanguard Saga of Heroes, City of Villans or City of Heroes, and there are several more. They almost all have a monthly access fee of $14.99. Sony has the Everquest and Vanguard games, and Sony tends to come out with more expansions more often, but! that just adds up to more money you are going to spend over the course of time, because those expansions run from $29.99-$49.99. Blizzard, which owns WOW, has only come out with the one expansion so far, and it is really decent, and we don't expect another one right away. I've played Everquest and didn't really like it. My husband plays Vanguard, and he likes that, but I haven't tried it yet so can't comment on how fun it is.
