How do i get record of employment to appy for EI?

Derrick Cacioppo: There's no such thing as a "record of employment." Employers do not have or keep any such thing. If you must have some kind of employment information, you have to make it yourself. You will need your dates of employment (the date you started, the date you terminated, the reason you terminated), your position title, brief description of what you did, your supervisor's name and title, and his phone number.
